I for one am just so excited that there are plenty of alternatives to the traditional wedding cake these days.  Don’t get me wrong, cake is great but it’s nice to have some options!

Candy Buffets!  Candy buffets are great and very easy to coordinate with the rest of the wedding.  And you can choose several different types of candies and be sure to please all your guests!

Something we’ve been seeing more and more of lately are cake pops!  What is a cake pop exactly?  Just what it sounds like!  Cake covered in icing on a lollipop stick!  They are bite sized and work great as the main dessert (just order a few per guest) or as favors.  You can even find many DIY recipes online if you choose to make them yourself.

Of course there are cupcakes!  Cupcakes are a nice way to still have cake but choose several flavors if you’d like.  And you won’t have to worry about cutting and serving the cake to all your guests.
