Picking out your bridesmaids dresses can be very overwhelming! You want to find a dress that will flatter all your girls’ figures AND maybe something they can wear again especially with the economy how it has been the last few years. Here are some tips to find the perfect dress for everyone….
FABRIC - Find a lightweight fabric. Heavy satin fabrics will almost never be worn again and sometimes don’t set well on a curvy figure. Instead try lighter weight fabrics like a thin satin, chiffon or silk.
STYLE - An empire waistline is pretty flattering on a variety of figures but stay away if you have any busty bridesmaids! An a-line is also a pretty safe way to go. Maybe you wouldn’t mind mixing and matching styles to keep everyone happy.
LENGTH - Consider a knee or tea length dress! They’ll be more likely to wear the dress again if it’s a bit shorter in length… or find a dress that can be hemmed to a shorter length and still look good!
